Tour Itinerary
You will be meeting your tour leader at 12:15am at the Malta International Airport to check-in for our flight to Bari Airport scheduled to depart at 15:15pm. On arrival there at 16:35pm. We will board our private coach and head to our accommodation for check in. The rest of the evening will be free to discover the surroundings.
During your stay, you’ll be hosted at the Tenute Albano Wine and Wellness Resort, an elegant retreat owned by the renowned Italian singer Albano Carrisi. Experience the perfect blend of comfort and tradition in a setting that reflects the artistry of its famous owner.
In the morning join your tour leader for breakfast and after we will begin our journey to the charming city of Alberobello, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famed for its iconic trulli houses. Stroll through the picturesque Rione Monti district, explore artisan shops, and sample local delicacies. After exploring Alberobello we will head to our accommodation Tenute Albano Wine and Wellness resort.
After enjoying breakfast, you can join us for an optional excursion to Matera, one of the world’s oldest continuously inhabited cities and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Famous for its ancient cave dwellings, Matera offers a glimpse into a unique way of life carved into the cliffs. Explore its labyrinth of stone streets, visit rock-hewn churches, and enjoy breath-taking views of this timeless city. This unforgettable day blends history, culture, and stunning scenery. Evening is free to do as you please.
You will meet your tour leader for breakfast and today we opt for an exciting visit to the Zoo Safari, where you can see exotic animals up close in a stunning natural setting. In the afternoon, we’ll head to the picturesque coastal town of Polignano a Mare, known for its dramatic cliffs, crystal-clear waters, and charming historic centre. Wander through its narrow streets, enjoy breath-taking sea views, and perhaps try the region’s famous gelato. A day full of adventure and beauty awaits! We will then head back to relax at your hotel for the evening.
After enjoying breakfast, you can join us to discover the rich history and coastal charm of Bari, Puglia’s capital. Explore its bustling old town, visit the impressive Basilica of Saint Nicholas, and soak up the vibrant local culture. Later, we’ll head to the elegant port city of Trani, renowned for its stunning waterfront and the breath-taking Romanesque Cathedral of San Nicola, perched by the sea. This optional day trip is a perfect blend of history, architecture, and scenic beauty. After we will head back to our resort for the rest of the day.
Start your day with a leisurely breakfast and some relaxation at the hotel. Around noon, we’ll depart for San Giovanni Rotondo, home to the renowned Sanctuary of Padre Pio. Take time to explore this spiritual site and soak in its peaceful atmosphere. Afterward, we’ll begin our journey back to Malta, carrying with us the cherished memories of our Puglia adventure. We’ll head to the airport for your flight back to Malta with KM Malta Airlines departing at 22:35pm and expected to arrive at 23:55pm.
