Tour Itinerary
You will be meeting your tour leader at 03:45 am at the Malta International Airport to check in for our Ryanair flight to Bari Airport, scheduled to depart at 05:45 am. Upon arrival at 07:05 am, we will start our journey with a visit to Bari, the vibrant capital of Puglia.
In Bari, we will explore the charming Old Town, where history and tradition blend beautifully. Stroll through its narrow, winding streets, visit the Basilica of Saint Nicholas, a significant pilgrimage site, and admire the Swabian Castle, an imposing fortress by the sea. Take in the lively atmosphere along the Lungomare, Bari’s picturesque seafront promenade, and enjoy some free time to grab a coffee or taste the city’s famous focaccia barese.
After our visit to Bari, we will board a private coach to Alberobello, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famed for its iconic Trulli houses. Stroll through the picturesque Rione Monti district, explore artisan shops, and sample local delicacies.
Following our Alberobello adventure, we will head to our accommodation at Tenute Albano Wine and Wellness Resort, where you can unwind and enjoy the serene surroundings.

After enjoying breakfast, you can Join us for an optional excursion to Matera, one of the world’s oldest continuously inhabited cities and also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Famous for its ancient cave dwellings, Matera offers a glimpse into a unique way of life carved into the cliffs. Explore its labyrinth of stone streets, visit rock-hewn churches, and enjoy breathtaking views of this timeless city. This unforgettable day blends history, culture, and stunning scenery. Evening is free to do as you please.

You will meet your tour leader for breakfast and today we opt for an exciting visit to the Zoo Safari, where you can see exotic animals up close in a stunning natural setting. In the afternoon, we’ll head to the picturesque coastal town of Polignano a Mare, known for its dramatic cliffs, crystal-clear waters, and charming historic centre. Wander through its narrow streets, enjoy breathtaking sea views, and perhaps try the region’s famous gelato. A day full of adventure and beauty awaits! We will then head back to relax at your hotel for the evening.
After breakfast at our accommodation, we will board our private coach and journey to San Giovanni Rotondo, a town deeply connected to Saint Padre Pio. This sacred pilgrimage site attracts millions of visitors each year, offering a profound spiritual experience.
Upon arrival, visit the Sanctuary of Saint Padre Pio, which includes the Church of Our Lady of Grace, where Padre Pio lived and celebrated Mass, and the modern Shrine of Saint Pio, designed by renowned architect Renzo Piano. the opportunity to view Padre Pio’s tomb, reflecting on his life, miracles, and deep devotion.
You can also visit the Via Crucis Monumentale, a beautifully designed Way of the Cross set amidst nature, providing a peaceful space for prayer and contemplation.
After a meaningful visit, we will enjoy free time for lunch and personal devotion before heading back to our accommodation, where the rest of the evening will be at leisure.

After breakfast, we will check out from Tenute Albano Wine and Wellness Resort and board our private coach for the journey back.
Our first stop will be at Casamassima Shopping Mall, one of the largest shopping centers in Puglia. Here, you’ll have time to explore a variety of stores, from fashion and accessories to local Italian products. Whether you’re looking for souvenirs, last-minute gifts, or just want to enjoy a coffee, this stop offers a perfect way to wrap up our trip.
After our shopping break, we will proceed to Bari Airport for our flight back to Malta with Ryanair departing at 16:35pm and expected to arrive at 17:55pm.
