Nico Cruises
Destinations
Nicko Cruises (officially nicko cruises Schiffsreisen GmbH) is a German cruise operator founded in 1992 , with a focus on river cruising — especially on waterways like the Rhine, Danube and Volga. Over time the company expanded beyond rivers to offer ocean and expedition-style voyages as well, reflecting its growth and broader travel offerings.
Today, Nicko Cruises combines river, ocean and expedition cruises with a philosophy of “slow cruising” — emphasising smaller ships, immersive experiences and relaxed itineraries that allow travellers to explore destinations in depth without the crowds of larger cruise ships. Their fleet includes dozens of modern river ships and classic ocean vessels such as the VASCO DA GAMA, with onboard standards comparable to 4- to 5-star hotels.
