Tour Itinerary

DAY 1 & DAY 2
ARRIVAL TO TOKYO

Day 1:

Depart from Malta to reach our destination at Narita Airport, Tokyo. After arrival we proceed to the hotel in Tokyo for check in. On this day, you will have free time to explore this City during night time.

Overnight stay in Tokyo.

Day 2:

Breakfast at the Hotel. Afterwards. we proceed to visit Skytree. The Tokyo Skytree is Japan’s tallest structure and one of the tallest towers in the world, standing at 634 meters. Located in the Sumida district, it serves as a broadcasting tower and popular tourist attraction, offering stunning panoramic views of Tokyo from its observation decks, as well as shopping, dining, and entertainment at the base complex, Tokyo Solamachi.

Afterwards we proceed to visit other popular attractions in Tokyo such as Sensoji Temple, Nakamise Shopping Street, Imperial Palace (photo stop) and Ginza Street. Ginza is Tokyo’s premier shopping and entertainment district, famous for its luxury boutiques, high-end department stores, fine dining, and vibrant atmosphere. On weekends, the main street becomes a pedestrian paradise, allowing visitors to stroll freely and enjoy the stylish city scene.

DAY 3
MT FUJI

Breakfast at the hotel followed by a drive to Lake Kawaguchi.

Lake Kawaguchi is one of the Fuji Five Lakes, located near the base of Mount Fuji. It’s known for its stunning reflections of the mountain, hot spring resorts, and scenic spots perfect for sightseeing, boating, and photography throughout the year. We will have a cruise around lake Kawaguchi followed by Mt.Fuji Panaromic Ropeway.

Mount Fuji is Japan’s highest mountain at 3,776 meters and an iconic national symbol. This majestic, snow-capped volcano is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, attracting visitors for its breathtaking views, hiking trails, and cultural significance in Japanese art and tradition.

Return to our Hotel in Tokyo

DAY 4
TOKYO AND DEPART TO HIROSHIMA

After breakfast, we will leave our luggage in the lobby to be sent to Kyoto.

Last few hours in Tokyo where we will start with a Tea Ceremony Experience. The Tea Ceremony Experience in Tokyo offers a glimpse into Japan’s traditional culture and hospitality. Guests learn the art of preparing and serving matcha green tea with grace and mindfulness, while appreciating the aesthetics, harmony, and tranquillity of this centuries-old ritual.

Afterwards we head to teamLab Planets in Tokyo. An immersive digital art museum where visitors walk through stunning, interactive installations made of light, water, and sound. The exhibits change as you move, creating a unique, sensory experience that blurs the boundaries between art, technology, and nature.

We will then head towards Tokyo Station to catch our afternoon train heading towards Hiroshima. Once we arrive we will be transferred to the Hotel where you will have a free night to explore Hiroshima.

DAY 5
Hiroshima & Miyajima Tour

After breakfast we will explore this city. We will visit Hiroshima Peace Park, a serene area dedicated to remembering the victims of the 1945 atomic bombing, and explore the Atomic Bomb Dome, a preserved ruin symbolizing peace. We will learn more at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, which chronicles the city’s history and the impact of the bombing. Afterwards we will travel to Miyajimaguchi and take a ferry to Miyajima Island, famous for its scenic beauty and Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its iconic “floating” torii gate.

Return to Hiroshima for overnight stay.

DAY 6 & DAY 7
Hiroshima - Himeji Tour - Kyoto

DAY 6:

After breakfast we check out from our hotel and depart to Kyoto. Enroute we stop to Himeji which is a historic city in Japan. We will have the time to visit Himeji Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the finest surviving examples of traditional Japanese castle architecture. Often called the “White Heron Castle” for its elegant, white exterior, it is renowned for its intricate design, defensive systems, and stunning views. There you will have the time to enjoy Kyoto by the evening.

We then proceed to Kyoto to check in our Hotel.

DAY 7:

Breakfast and today we have a full day to explore Kyoto, Japan’s cultural heart, is famous for its historic temples, traditional architecture, and scenic beauty. You will visit the Kinkaku-ji (Golden Temple), known for its shimmering gold exterior, and Nijo Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site showcasing samurai-era architecture.

Also, enjoy a kimono wearing experience to immerse yourself in Japanese tradition, and stroll through the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, a serene and picturesque natural landmark.

Overnight stay in Kyoto.

DAY 8
KYOTO - NARA - OSAKA

Breakfast at the hotel followed by check out to proceed to our next destination, Osaka.

Before heading to Osaka, we will first visit Fushimi Inari Taisha in Kyoto, famous Shinto shrine renowned for its thousands of vibrant red torii gates that form scenic walking paths up Mount Inari. It is dedicated to Inari, the god of rice and prosperity, and is a popular site for both spiritual visits and photography.

Next stop is in Nara. Nara is a historic city known for its ancient temples and friendly free-roaming deer. We will visit Nara Deer Park, where sacred deer wander freely and interact with visitors, and to Todaiji Temple, home to the massive Great Buddha (Daibutsu), a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Japan’s most iconic landmarks.

Afterward we head over to Osaka to check in our hotel. Enjoy the evening in Osaka.

DAY 9
OSAKA

After breakfast, we enjoy our last day in Osaka.

Begin with a visit to Osaka Castle, one of Japan’s most famous landmarks, known for its striking architecture, rich history, and beautifully landscaped gardens. Next, head to the Umeda Sky Building, an architectural marvel featuring an open-air observation deck with 360-degree panoramic views of Osaka. Enjoy free time in the Umeda district to explore shopping malls, local cafes, and unique boutiques at your own pace. Conclude the day at Dotonbori, Osaka’s bustling entertainment and food district, famous for

its neon-lit streets, giant signboards, lively atmosphere, and iconic street foods such as takoyaki and okonomiyaki.

DAY 10
RETURN FLIGHT TO MALTA FROM OSAKA

Breakfast and check out. Proceed to Osaka airport to check in for your flight back to Malta.
