Tour Itinerary
You will be meeting your tour leader at 03:45am at the Malta International Airport to check-in for our Ryanair flight to Lourdes Airport scheduled to depart at 05:45am. On arrival to Lourdes at 08:15am we will board our private coach which will take us to our 4* Hotel in Lourdes – Hotel Alba.
If you choose to join us for the walking tour, we will visit key sites connected to the life of St. Bernadette. Visit the Boly Windmill, St Bernadette birthplace and explore Le Cachot, where her family once live. Reflect at the Parish Church, a place of deep spiritual significance. A perfect start to your pilgrimage! Evening back to hotel for dinner.

We will meet in the morning for breakfast and after continue exploring the beautiful city of Lourdes. Begin your morning with a visit to the Sanctuary, offering a unique moment for spiritual reflection and renewal, and at 10:00am attend the world-famous international mass in the underground sanctuary.
*Visit to the Sanctuary is on foot and involves long walking distance.*
Later, embark on a captivating half-day tour to Pont D’Espagne, a picturesque site near Cauterets known for its stunning waterfalls and serene mountain vistas. The tour also includes a visit to the charming village of St. Savin, where you can admire its historic abbey and tranquil surroundings. A perfect day to connect with nature and history!
Return to the hotel for dinner. After which at 9 pm accompanied by the spiritual director and tour manager you will be able to attend and participate in the candlelight Marian procession.
After breakfast, you can join an optional excursion to Biarritz followed by Saint Jean De Luz. Biarritz, an elegant seaside town on southwestern France’s Basque coast, has been a popular resort since European royalty began visiting in the 1800s. Here, one can see the summer residence of Napoleon Bonaparte, the ‘Grand Plage’, together with Biarritz Lighthouse, which is found 73 metres above sea level.
Although Saint-Jean-de-Luz is located a mere 20 minutes away from Biarritz and both are famous beach resorts, the atmosphere in Saint-Jean-de-Luz is completely different, somehow more relaxed. It is busy but not overcrowded, beautiful but not overly luxurious. There are large beautiful Basque houses that form the old part of the town. Many of the buildings date back to the 17th century, a time when Saint-Jean-de-Luz was one of the most important fishing ports of France. Return to the hotel for dinner.
After breakfast join us for a visit to Bartres, a quaint village with strong ties to St. Bernadette, offering a peaceful and reflective experience. Continue to the beautiful Lake of Lourdes, where you can enjoy tranquil views and connect with nature.
In the afternoon, indulge in some leisure time at the Meridien Shopping Arcade. Explore its variety of shops, perfect for finding unique souvenirs or simply relaxing with a coffee as you soak in the lively atmosphere. A delightful mix of spirituality, nature, and shopping! In the afternoon we will head back to our accommodation, and you can enjoy the evening as you please. Evening back to hotel for dinner.
After breakfast, conclude your journey with a visit to Gavarnie located in the Hautes Pyrenees region, take in the serene mountain vistas and enjoy some leisure time to explore this stunning destination.
After the visit, we will head back to the accommodation where after a while we start our journey to the airport to head back for our Ryanair flight to Malta scheduled to depart at 17:55pm and arrive in Malta at 20:20pm.

The restaurant services are 3 course lunch menus and 4-course dinner menus served during restaurant opening hours. Opening hours for breakfast 7am to 8:30am, lunch 12:00pm, dinner 19:00pm. For arrivals after 13:30pm and 20:30pm, cold plates will be served.
Packed lunch will be offered if lunch is during one of our planned excursions.
