About

Hamilton Travel – Over 34 Years of Travel Excellence

Over 34 Years of Creating Unforgettable Travel Experiences
Established in April 1992, Hamilton Travel has grown into one of Malta's established travel agencies and tour operators, offering a wide range of holidays, cruises and tailor-made travel experiences.

Our story began with the vision of Mr Norman Hamilton, a well-known television and radio personality, who organised the company's first outgoing tour to Euro Disney and Paris.

During its first year, Hamilton Travel organised approximately six tours, taking around 250 passengers abroad. What started as a small venture soon developed into a recognised name in Malta's travel industry. By 2002 and 2003, the company was organising approximately 150 tours annually, welcoming more than 10,000 travellers each year.

A Legacy That Lives On
The recent passing of our founder, Mr Norman Hamilton, marked the loss of an extraordinary individual whose vision, determination and passion helped shape Hamilton Travel into the company it is today.

His commitment to offering quality holidays at affordable prices, combined with his dedication to customer satisfaction, established the foundations upon which our company continues to grow.

Although he is no longer with us, his legacy lives on through Hamilton Travel, its dedicated team and the thousands of travellers who have entrusted us with their holidays over the years. We remain committed to honouring his vision while continuing to develop new destinations, experiences and opportunities for our clients.

Our Expertise in Cruises
Cruising has played an important role in Hamilton Travel's development.

Since 1996, Hamilton Travel has served as the exclusive General Sales Agent for MSC Cruises in Malta, establishing a longstanding relationship with one of the world's leading cruise companies. Over the years, we have helped thousands of Maltese travellers discover the Mediterranean and destinations around the world.

Today, our cruise portfolio extends beyond MSC Cruises, offering a wide selection of international cruise lines, from family-friendly holidays and premium cruises to luxury voyages, river cruises and worldwide itineraries.

Whether departing directly from Malta or travelling abroad to join a cruise, our experienced team is available to assist customers in selecting the right holiday.
Discover the World with Hamilton Travel
Our travel expertise extends far beyond cruising.

His vision started our journey. His legacy continues to guide us.

Reviews

I can honestly say that in the years me and my family and friends had the opportunity to use the services of Hamilton Travel, going back as far as 1987, we never had any complaints or indeed any complications.

First time traveling with Hamilton Travel and surely won’t be the last. They took care of everything professionally especially Soraya. We contacted her for help on a public holiday on a Sunday and immediately helped us all the way. Problem was solved in minutes.

Thank you goes to all the staff at Hamilton Travel, Floriana. They are very well mannered and go out of their way to help the customers. Well done!

Very well served by Hamilton Travel! We booked our Summer Cruise through them on the MSC World Europa. They provided us a very professional service and took care of everything. There was even a tour guide available on the cruise assisting us. We already booked our next cruise during their recent open day. Well, done and keep up the good service!!

Yesterday I went to Hamilton Travel to settle my cruise balance and it was a 5-minute thing. But the transaction was made so pleasant by the helpful employee. She was super nice from the moment I sat foot in the office, checked everything I asked for with a smile and offered more help and was very friendly. She really made a bad morning, a little bit more bearable. Thank you Soraya, You prove that good customer care still exists!

We booked cruise holidays three times with Hamilton travel, over a span of a few years and they have always been so helpful and professional. Keep up the good work!

Back from an amazing cruise on MSC Seashore thanks to all staff at Hamilton Travel, Yasmin Hamilton, Dinah Debono and Lourdes Zammit for your help and to the best tour leader Stephen Borg. As always MSC you never fail to impress me.

I would like to thank Ms Dinah Debono for her exceptional service throughout our emails and for your sufficient service. She is an example of good customer service! Keep it up!

I would like to thank Hamilton Travel especially Ms Dinah Debono for her excellent service throughout our emails about our cancelled cruise. We were promised to get a refund within 6 months from our cruise date and we go them before. Thanks!! Hamilton Travel as we always did in the past, we are looking forward to book our holiday with you in the near future.

This is my second time booking with Hamilton. Although we booked last minute they helped us in the best way they could. Other than that I have nothing but praise for their team that assisted us Chris, Lourdes and mostly Soraya that went out of her way to help us. Thank you!

Just returned from a cruise on MSC Seaview. Excellently organised holiday on a truly amazing cruise ship. A big well done also goes to the tour leader, Steve, who really goes that extra mile to ensure that guests have a superb holiday. Will return on the MSC Bellissima! Thanks.
