Through this privacy policy one can further understand how we collect and store personal information you provide to us on our website. This privacy policy will also provide you with details on how to access your information requesting it to be amended or deleted in total from our database.

At Hamilton Travel Ltd. and Hamilton Travel Cruises Ltd. any personal information collected is processed and stored within the company records in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation). Hamilton Travel Ltd. and Hamilton Travel Cruises Ltd shall be seen as The Data Controller for the purposes of GDPR.

 

  1. When a client requests a quotation, submits their data on our website and/or books through us, you agree to the processing and storing of your personal data. Your data is stored with the utmost confidentiality and in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).

When requesting a quotation, submitting your data through our website and/or making a booking through us, we require certain personal data about you and the persons joining you, to be collected to further the process. Personal data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable living individual. Different pieces of information, which collected can lead to the identification of a particular person.

Therefore, the personal data we collect may include but not be limited to; Name, Surname, Id Card No, Passport No, Address, email address, Passport details, telephone number, emergency contact number and any travel preferences, medical conditions, this is collected to facilitate the process of your booking and travel arrangements. This data shall only be stored for the purposes of your travel arrangements and until considered necessary.

 

  1. When making a booking with us, some of your data might be transferred to third parties as needed. Examples of this are airlines, hotels, transfer agents, insurance companies, event ticket agents, cruise liner operators, ground handling agents, destination management company ( if applicable).This needs to be done for them to be able to provide you with your travel arrangements.

Some of these third parties might not be situated in the European Union, and thus not subject to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).

 

There might be instances where we would need to pass your personal data to government bodies or other authorities in Malta and other countries mostly for the purposes of the issuance of visas and those responsible for immigration, border control, security, and anti-terrorism.
