South Korea

Visiting: Busan, Jeonju, Seoul, Sokcho

PRICE per person

This general itinerary is ideal for those who wish to experience South Korea for a duration of approximately 10-12 days.

Starting in the bustling capital, Seoul, is a perfect place to start your Korean adventure. The city is very populous, immaculately clean and has an endless list of sight and experiences. Korea in general is also something of a foodie’s paradise, with delicious bites to be found on every corner! Continuing eastwards to the coastal town of Sokcho. This town is mostly a base for visitors to enjoy a breathtaking hike around Seoraksan National Park. There is also a small mountain one can climb (approximately 2 hours up and down) which when at the top one can also catch views of the North Korean border. Next, make your way right down south to the coastal city of Busan. Some exceptional temples can be found dotted along the coast, and with equally beautiful sandy beaches if visiting in summer, is a perfect opportunity for a quick dip in the sea. Next up, the bullet train to the charming town and UNESCO world heritage site, Jeonju. This picturesque location is famous in the country for being almost completely comprised of traditional Korean houses. Even your accommodation can be in one of these wonderful buildings! Bullet train once again back to the Korean capital, Seoul in preparation for your return journey home. Another popular activity from Seoul, is taking a day trip to what’s called the DMZ on the North & South Korean border.

*Flights are widely available from Malta (with a connection) to Seoul.
