Thursday 27 July

We meet at the airport at 10.30 am for Lufthansa flight departing at 12.25 pm to Munich in order to take the connection with Lufthansa flight at 15.35 pm for Washington DC. We should arrival at destination at 7.00 pm local American time. Pick up and a private coach will transfer us to our first 4* Donovan Hotel

Friday 28 July

Our first full day at Washington DC! A day dedicated for the optional city tour with a professional English speaking guide. The tour starts Arlington, Virginia at the military Arlington National Cemetery, where also former president John F. Kennedy is buried. Be prepared for an exceptional experience and an exciting view from the cemetery on the Washington Monument!


Next stop on our trip will be in Capitol Hill, the oldest and most densely populated neighborhood in Washington DC. From there, we will guide you to all the important attractions, including the Supreme Court Building, the Senate, the Capitol, which is facing the Washington Monument, and many more sights of the neighborhood. Close to these landmarks we will take a view at the White House, which is the presidential residence and workplace of the current President of the USA.


Further stops on our sightseeing tour through Washington DC are the National Air and Space Museum, the famous Lincoln Memorial as well as the Korean and Vietnam Memorials.

Saturday 29 July

We proceed towards our next destination the Niagara Falls! We will passing through the wonderful Pennsylvania landscape and Appalachian Mountain until New Wilmington, home of the Amish Communities whose religious faiths stress humility, family, community, simple living, and separation from the world.
With this optional tour we will past Amish farms and homes and your guests will get to see many horses and buggies and Amish folks as we drive. Our first stop would be an Amish greenhouse, where the Byler family will greet our guests and server them fresh homemade Amish donuts!  Guests will walk around the several greenhouses, and get to see what a real Amish house and farm look like. Next stop would be an Amish grocery store that is right inside the home of an Amish family.  In one of their restaurant will be provided your lunch boxes with a choice of three croissant sandwiches (either chicken salad, ham and cheese or turkey club) chips, fresh fruit and a brownie, all made with local and fresh products.

After this unique experience our journey will continue with the evening arrival to the hotel in Niagara Days Inn & Suites Niagara Falls 3* SUP. 

Sunday 30 July

Today’s’ optional city will be at the city of Toronto, Canada.

Toronto; the capital of the province of Ontario, is a major Canadian city along Lake Ontario’s northwestern shore. It’s a dynamic metropolis with a core of soaring skyscrapers, all dwarfed by the iconic CN Tower. After the free lunch break at the Eaton Centre complex, we return to the Niagara for the falls view and time for the Hornblower Niagara Cruise – a 20-minute daytime boat tour to experience the awesome power, thundering roar and amazing mist of the mighty Niagara Falls.  View the American, Bridal Veil and Canadian Horseshoe Falls up close & personal.

This tour will continue with a Journey Behind the Falls – Take a journey deep below and behind the heart of Niagara, and stand in the mist where the mighty Horseshoe Falls tumbles from 13 storeys above! At Journey Behind the Falls, you’ll experience the awesome spectacle of one-fifth of the world’s fresh water crashing down to the basin below.

Return to our Hotel, which is few minutes away from the Niagara Falls!

Monday 31 July

We will be leaving The Canadian side and back to USA! We will drive towards New York City, however we will stop for an overnight in Albany. One can opt to join the Tour Leader for an adventure optional to the Howe Caverns: the tour starts with a 156 ft descent below the earth’s surface. Your journey winds through limestone corridors, cavernous galleries, under massive boulders, to a subterranean riverbed carved over countless millennia. Deep in the cave, solid rock appears fluid: creating strange formations, flowing sheets and dripping stalactites. Mysterious grottos lead off into distant, unexplored passages. Shadows hide secrets in every crack and crevice. The path twists and turns ever downward to the glassy surface of an underground lake that trails off into the absolute darkness of the cave’s Eastern Terminus… this is the Howe Caverns experience.

Return in hotel and overnight. We will be staying at the Holiday Inn Express Albany – Downtown 4*

Tuesday 1 August

After breakfast  we will continue our journey to New York City, well know as well as “The Big Apple”.

We shall arrive at around noon and proceed with the check in at our Hotel – Best Western Bowery Hanbee Hotel 4*. This afternoon, everyone is free to start discovering this vibrant city!

Wednesday 2 August

Breakfast. Today you can join us for a an optional full day tour to visit Downtown Manhattan – the heart and soul of the “City that Never Sleeps,”

The first part of this guided tour will start in Midtown Manhattan. From there, our tour coach guides you through the most famous avenues and well known landmarks including; the Rockefeller Center, which 850-foot centerpiece is one of the highest buildings in NYC. Not far away you will discover St. Patrick’s Cathedral, a catholic cathedral church which distinct itself from other churches by its Neo-Gothic style. We will also pass by the Trump Tower before we move to the Upper West and East Side along New York’s famous museum mile on 5th Avenue and the legendary Central Park. During our tour through northern NY, we are also going to show you the Lincoln Center and many more places before our coach heads towards Lower Manhattan, where you will experience Greenwich Village and the diverse culture of the city in SoHo. Within SoHo we are going to visit Little Italy and Chinatown. These neighborhoods make you feel like you are on another continent! Only a few blocks down the road the streets are getting more crowded as we are approaching the busiest part of Manhattan – The Financial District with its famous Wall Street. Our final stop at the southern tip of the isle, Battery Park, a unique green area at the southern harbor with view on the Statue of Liberty, ensures a relaxing finale for the first part of our tour.


For the second part, we will proceed to visit the Bronx, Queens, and Brooklyn.  This half-day tour is an excellent opportunity for a unique insight into these lesser-known neighborhoods.  In addition, you can experience places with your guide that you may have been reluctant to visit alone!

The Bronx Known as the “birthplace of hip hop”, the Bronx counts approximately 1.4 million residents and has therefore the fourth highest population of the five boroughs of New York City. Due to its cultural diversity, the Bronx has something to excite for everyone. Sports fans will be rewarded with the Yankee Stadium, mainly used for baseball matches and located in the South Bronx. Bronx’ authentic Little Italy, the Fordham University and the Grand Concourse Boulevard is worth seeing by everyone.

Queens Whoever says the Central Park is the best park in NYC has never been to the Flushing Meadows Corona Park, in Queens, which is the fourth largest park of the town. The park was originally created for the 1939/1940 New York World’s Fair and unites some of the greatest landmarks of Queens including the Citi Field, stadium of the New York Mets baseball team, the Queens Museum of Art, the Queens Zoo, the US Open Tennis Stadium, also known as the Arthur Ashe Stadium, and many more sights everyone should have seen.

Brooklyn If Brooklyn would be an independent city, it would be the 4th largest city of the United States only close behind Chicago, with more than 2.6 million residents who chose this borough as their home. The tour passes through Williamsburg, one of the most interesting Orthodox Jewish neighborhoods in Brooklyn.

Thursday 3 August

Breakfast. Our last optional tour for New York City is to the Woodbury Common Premium Outlets. Experience the best of NY shopping with more than 200 stores with premium designers like Dolce & Gabbana, Burberry, Prada and many more! Most of the stores will also have very good offers.

Back to our hotel late in the afternoon.

Friday 4 August

After breakfast in hotel last free time for the shopping in the local shops around the area. Or else you can explore the Rockefeller Shopping Center, the Top of the Rock Observatory Desk or to opt to enjoy the amazing views of Manhattan from the 86th-floor observatory of the Empire State Building or simply take a walk in the famous Central Park.

Our luggage will be stored in the hotel until the pick-up time. At around 1.00 pm our private coach will transfer us to Newark Liberty International Airport in order to catch the Lufthansa flight to Frankfurt at 6.05 pm .  Dinner on the plane.

Saturday 5 August

Breakfast on the plane. We should land in Frankfurt at 07.30 am and our flight back to Malta is scheduled to depart from Frankfurt at 09.05 am with arrival time in Malta at 11.35 am.

Further Info Regarding Howe Caverns:
-Please dress appropriate for maximum comfort during the tour
-Bring a light jacket and wear comfortable shoes that give you a good level of traction, For your safety, flip flops are not allowed in this tour.
-Cavern Environment: 12 Degrees Celcius and 70-75% humidity, all year round
-For safety of the guests and preservation of the cavern, large bask, backpacks, food and beverages are not permitted underground.
-To help protect the cave environment, touching rocks and formations is prohibited.
Please note: the cave is not wheelchair accessible and strollers are not permitted in the cavern. Above ground ares are accessible to mobility impaired visitors. A 25 minute video of the cavern tour is available for those who cannot tour the cave.
The cavern tour is equivalent to a 12 city block walk and has a 15 minute boat ride half way through it. Anyone who has breathing problems or difficulty walking and negotiating steps should take note before booking.
